Sage Mountain

So, I don’t know about you, but we’ve been feeling a tad lethargic around here lately. So, Saturday morning we got our behinds out of bed and went up to Sage Mountain National Park for a two hour hike! We were up there at the gift shop last week in search of a decorative BVI map for Tony and noticed some gorgeous photo op spots, so this seemed like a great opportunity to snap some photos and get a little exercise. Here are some pictures:
Boys will be boys!

But girls can’t bear being left out!

This view looks out over Tortola and toward Virgin Gorda in the background.

The water is still that amazing mix of bright turquoise with patches of deep cobalt from the swell that rolled through last weekend. We can’t quite figure out what causes the discrepancy in colour, but it sure is beautiful to look at!
